Raw mountain honey, or mountain honey, unlike others, can be found practically all over the peninsula, except perhaps part of the eastern coast. It is normally harvested in late summer. The families of the flowers that form it are Fabaceae, Cistaceae, Ericaceae. In our province, Albacete, bees find a combination of broom, bramble, marjoram, savory, and thyme among others, which by combining their nectar in a natural way, the bees obtain this honey. Raw mountain honey is very rich in properties.
